Nick is a 1994 graduate of Georgia Tech with a BS in Chemical Engineering. In his career, he previously worked in process engineering, technical management, plant management and new product development before starting and building a telecommunications company and then selling it in 2015. He owns a significant amount of investment property and has a technology background. Using his career background, he is familiar with the needs of those who work in big business and as well as entrepreneurs who make it happen every day. This experience guides Nick to use a holistic approach to evaluate clients' current situation before making any recommendations. He works to understand goals, evaluate and mitigate risks, and implement investment recommendations.
Nick holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation as well as the Retirement Income Certified Planner (RICP®) designation. He is a licensed life and health insurance agent and holds the SIE, Series 7 and Series 63 FINRA securities licenses as a Wealth Management Advisor with 3D Wealth Management.
He is an Aiken, SC native and has been an upstate resident since 2003. He has two sons, Nicholas and Zach, with his wife Robyn. Nick is an avid golfer and enjoys traveling. Nick is passionate about making an impact with his clients and serving his community in the Upstate. Fun fact, in 7th grade in the 1980s, Nick purchased candy in bulk from Sam's Club and sold it on the bus to school making over $7,000 during the school year. He invested that in Walmart stock in 1985 and sold it in the late 1990s to pay for a large part of his first home.
